Nigel Clough saw the return of Michael Kightly as he made his first start since Albion's 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers at the end of February.
Cauley Woodrow has got a good goal scoring record at the Pirelli Stadium having scored all of his Burton Albion goals here, and he nearly notched that tally up by one just two minutes into the game when he teed up a shot from 30 yards but his powerful effort flashed just wide of Daniel Bentley's right-hand post.GOAL: The away side scored on their first attack, and there was question over whether the goal should have stood. Kyle McFadzean was down on the floor with a head injury as Brentford broke down the right before getting a cross in where Sergi Canos was waiting to put the ball into the back of the net off the underside of the bar (0-1).
GOAL: Brentford's lead lasted just 11 minutes before Nigel Clough's men levelled things up at the Pirelli. Lasse Christensen delivered a floated corner towards the front post which was flicked on by Cauley Woodrow and Marvin Sordell was waiting at the back post to tap it over the line (1-1).
GOAL: And the Brewers were level for just two minutes before they took the lead, and it was a carbon copy of the first goal. Again Christensen delivered the corner, it was flicked on at the front post and Sordell was waiting at the back post to score his second of the game, and his third in a yellow shirt (2-1).
GOAL: All of Cauley Woodrow's goals have come at the Pirelli Stadium this season, and he scored a similar goal to his one against Forest last week, but his free kick found the opposite corner this time (3-1).Â

Dean Smith didn't make any changes at half time, but his team came out fighting and soon pinned Burton Albion back.
GOAL: Six minutes into the second half Brentford started their come-back as Lasse Vibe found space in the box and slotted calmly into the bottom corner from close-range, and it wasn't long before they were level (3-2).
GOAL: Brentford levelled the game just after the hour mark when Sergi Canos pinched the ball off John Brayford before rounding McLaughlin and slotting into an empty net (3-3).
The two quick goals gave Brentford a boost, and they nearly took the lead with 20 minutes to go when Florian Jozefzoon's shot from inside the box seemed to be heading into the far corner but it was superbly kept out by John Brayford who was at full stretch to block the effort.
The away side had their goalkeeper to thank on 75 minutes when Michael Kightly's pace got him in-behind the Brentford back line but his shot was well saved by Daniel Bentley before Cauley Woodrow's follow-up shot was scuffed wide.
Either side could have gone on to win the game, and Brentford very nearly did just that when Jota rattled the foot of the post from inside the box before Nico Yennaris' follow-up shot was well-raved by Jon McLaughlin, and the third shot was blocked by Ben Turner to keep the scores level.
GOAL: Brentford DID go on to take the lead when Jozefzoon crossed the ball from the left where Lasse Vibe was waiting to volley past Jon McLaughlin (3-4).
GOAL: The away side added to their lead just a minute later when the ball was poked through the Albion defence where Jota got a toe onto it to guide it past McLaughlin (3-5).
